I love animals and birds are no exception. I didn’t pay too much attention to them when I was growing up. I grew up in the country and they were plentiful almost to the point of being pests. Last weekend I even went to the extent of building a bird feeder. After looking at them at the home improvement stores, I decided not only could I build a better bird feeder but it would also be cheaper. After a couple of hours at the workbench and my table saw, I was finished. I filled it with bird seed and hung it in the backyard and within minutes I had a cardinal checking out my handywork. If that is all it took to get some more birds to my backyard, I should have done it years ago.
